The Role
As a Fire & Security Engineer, you will be responsible for attending service requests from our valued clients. Your role will involve servicing and maintaining addressable and non-addressable fire systems, DDA systems, and security systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and maintain fire alarm systems, security alarms, emergency lighting systems, and DDA compliant systems.
- Complete and compile maintenance engineer reports and site survey reports.
- Respond to fault calls for fire alarm systems and security alarm systems.
- Maintain professional and clear customer contact, ensuring timely and accurate responses to all inquiries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients while upholding Photuris’ positive reputation.
- Participate in the on-call rota, weekend work, and overtime as required by the company.
Requirements
- Proven experience in the Fire & Security industry.
- Strong fault-finding skills with the ability to resolve issues logically and efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports and complete necessary documentation.
- Ability to understand and interpret technical specifications and drawings.
- Initiative-driven with strong attention to detail and excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Educate clients on available system alternatives and solutions when applicable.

- BAFE – Fire Extinguishers
- 18th Edition/Electrical knowledge
- Experience of working with leading manufacturers – Kentec, CTEC, Hochiki, Apollo, Xtralis, Ziton and Gent

Further Information
- Must hold a full UK Driving Licence
