About Us

Photoroom launched in 2020 after being accepted into Y Combinator and has become the world's most popular AI photo editor over the past four years. Our goal is to create the technology allowing anyone to create studio‐level product images in minutes. With over 300 million downloads and processing 5+ billion images annually, we serve both individual creators and major enterprises like Amazon, DoorDash, and Decathlon through our B2C app and B2B API solutions. We're a profitable, remote‐friendly company that has raised Series B funding and aims for 40% year‐over‐year growth. Our team of 100+ passionate builders focuses on craft, innovation, and collaboration, creating exceptional impact for entrepreneurs and businesses worldwide.

Role Summary

We're looking for a Senior Growth Marketing builder to help Photoroom unlock new acquisition channels for our fast developing SMB business. This role is for a modern growth hacker who combines strong marketing instincts (distribution, messaging, demand capture) with the ability to quickly build and ship growth experiments using AI‐powered tools.

You will design, build, and launch acquisition surfaces that attract new users to Photoroom. These can be tools, generators, programmatic pages, lightweight integrations, or any asset that brings growth. These experiments will primarily live outside the core product and are designed to capture demand, open new growth channels, and drive user acquisition at scale. You will operate with high autonomy, moving quickly from idea → build → distribution → learning. This is a marketing role for someone who can build, not a product role that sometimes touches growth.

Compensation

€70 000 – €90 000 + Stock‐Options/BSPC

Location

Work flexibly from Germany, UK, Italy, France, Ireland, Portugal or Spain, with monthly Paris office visits (fully reimbursed).

What you'll do

  • Own revenue growth targets for SMB – Drive measurable revenue growth by bringing in, converting and retaining new users across paid, organic, and experimental channels, with direct accountability to monthly acquisition and conversion goals.
  • Find demand and build capture assets – Analyze search trends, marketplace signals, community conversations, and competitive gaps to identify where potential users are, then create the pages, tools, and entry points that meet them.
  • Analyze the end‐to‐end user journey and run experiments – Design, build, and ship weekly experiments across new and existing channels (SEO, partnerships, referral loops, viral mechanics, community, content) to discover outlier growth plays. Expect an experimentation pace of 10+ experiments a month.
  • Produce growth assets – Use AI‐powered tools (Claude, Cursor, Lovable, n8n...) to independently build and ship continuously.
  • Iterate and scale winners – Build dashboards and tracking to measure experiment impact from impression to paying user, share learnings, and scale what drives ROI.

What we're looking for

  • 6+ years building or scaling growth in a high‐growth tech or AI company focused on SMB – Roles such as growth, growth hacking, product growth, growth engineering, or builder.
  • Strong marketer – You understand acquisition, distribution loops, messaging, and demand capture. GTM is your bread and butter.
  • Strong vibe coder – You can independently build and ship production‐ready web experiences using modern AI coding tools without waiting for developers or designers.
  • Experiment‐obsessed and data‐driven – You've run hundreds of growth experiments, set up proper tracking and attribution, and make data‐based decisions.
  • Scrappy and comfortable with ambiguity – You thrive on figuring out what works from scratch and iterating your way to a winning channel.
  • Autonomous with proactive transparency – You operate with high ownership, share plans early, keep the team informed, and communicate openly.
  • Bonus – Experience with Shopify apps, shipping side projects, open‐source tools, or growth experiments that attracted real users.

What you might ship in your first 90 days

  • A free AI‐optimised SEO product description that attracts thousands of new merchants creating product visuals.
  • Programmatic pages for sellers (Shopify, WooCommerce, eBay) showcasing how to generate product images for specific product categories.
  • A micro‐tool that turns a product URL into ready‐to‐use marketing visuals (ads, social posts, listings) and drives users to Photoroom.
  • A lightweight integration or automation that lets sellers automatically generate product photos from their catalog.

Benefits

  • Work flexibly from Germany, UK, Italy, France, Ireland, Portugal or Spain.
  • Regular team gatherings, including in‐person onboarding in Paris (1–2 weeks), yearly company offsite, team retreats, and quarterly in‐person meetings.
  • 30 days annual leave plus local public holidays.
  • Competitive equity package with stock options/BSPCE.
  • €1 000 one‐time home office grant OR €400/month co‐working space stipend.
  • €1 000 annual learning and development budget.
  • Private health insurance.
  • Access to personalised mental health support via MokaCare.
  • Sports and cultural activities reimbursement.
  • Relocation support (up to €10 000) for those choosing to move to France (visa + housing support). Note: Visa sponsorship and relocation support are only available for roles based in France.

Hiring Process

  • Screening call with Talent Manager (30 min).
  • Technical interview with Hiring Manager (45 min).
  • Take‐home assignment and live review with the team (45 min).
  • Culture fit interviews and meet the team (~3 h total).
  • Reference check and offer.
