We are seeking a highly experienced Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Technical Architect with deep expertise in Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA). As the Technical Architect, you will lead end-to-end technical architecture, design, and development for enterprise-level eCommerce implementations. You will be a key player in driving SFCC best practices, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability of solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect scalable, high-performance SFCC (B2C) solutions based on SFRA and business requirements.
- Lead the design and development of complex SFCC applications, integrations, and APIs.
- Translate business and functional requirements into technical specifications and architecture.
- Define SFCC development best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, designers, developers, and QA.
- Conduct code reviews, architecture reviews, and performance assessments.
- Oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle from solution design to deployment and support.
- Guide development teams on technical implementation and troubleshoot advanced issues.
- Integrate third-party systems such as payment gateways, ERP, CRM, OMS, and analytics.
- Ensure security, scalability, and compliance with SFCC implementations.
- Stay updated on SFCC roadmap, SFRA updates, and eCommerce trends.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in eCommerce development with at least 4 years as an SFCC Architect.
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C (Demandware) and SFRA.
- Deep understanding of eCommerce principles, architecture, and integrations.
- Proficient in JavaScript (client and server-side), ISML, pipelines, controllers, and OCAPI.
- Expertise in headless commerce, third-party integrations, and CDNs.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (e.g., Git).
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- SFCC Developer and/or Architect certifications preferred.
