Project role: We're looking for a Senior Content Designer who not only excels in creating clear and concise copy for digital products, but can bring the client’s brand voice to life. This person is both a writer and content strategist, with a keen understanding of the nuances involved with writing for digital platforms and in-depth working knowledge of GDS accessibility standards. Task-based apps in particular will be the core product of work. This requires knowledge of customer behaviour and goals and how those inform the content structure.

The Sr. Content Designer is responsible for style and format consistency across all projects and communicating with other team members to create the best content possible. Other duties and responsibilities include:
- Completing writing projects, meeting deadlines, and following content requirements in terms of style and project specifications
- Revising content whenever customers or clients request changes
- Helping create content style guides or suggesting changes to ensure content is consistent and clear
- Working with customers to define their content needs
- Conducting research on any given topic
- Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original content
- Developing mobile-focused content for task-based apps, which includes everything from copy for product descriptions to research-based form design
- Assisting the marketing team in developing mobile-focused content for advertising campaigns
- Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies
- Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability and accessibility
- Conducting keyword research and using SEO best practices to increase traffic to the company website/app, if applicable
- Creating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience
- Identifying customers’ needs and recommending new content to address gaps in the company's current content
Job Requirement: 8+ years of proven content design experience, particularly for Mobile
- Working knowledge of content management systems
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
- A strong portfolio of relevant work
- Excellent writing and editing skills with attention to detail
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
- *E-commerce and food service industry experience a plus
