We're looking for a Senior Content Designer who not only excels in creating clear and concise copy for digital products, but can bring the client’s brand voice to life. This person is both a writer and content strategist, with a keen understanding of the nuances involved with writing for digital platforms and in-depth working knowledge of GDS accessibility standards. Task-based apps in particular will be the core product of work. This requires knowledge of customer behaviour and goals and how those inform the content structure.

Job Description:

  • The Sr. Content Designer is responsible for style and format consistency across all projects and communicating with other team members to create the best content possible.
  • Completing writing projects, meeting deadlines, and following content requirements in terms of style and project specifications.
  • Revising content whenever customers or clients request changes.
  • Helping create content style guides or suggesting changes to ensure content is consistent and clear.
  • Working with customers to define their content needs.
  • Conducting research on any given topic.
  • Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original content.
  • Developing mobile-focused content for task-based apps, which includes everything from copy for product descriptions to research-based form design.
  • Assisting the marketing team in developing mobile-focused content for advertising campaigns.
  • Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies.
  • Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability and accessibility.
  • Conducting keyword research and using SEO best practices to increase traffic to the company website/app, if applicable.
  • Creating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience.
  • Identifying customers’ needs and recommending new content to address gaps in the company's current content.

Job Requirement:

  • 8+ years of proven content design experience, particularly for Mobile.
  • Working knowledge of content management systems.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • A strong portfolio of relevant work.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • *E-commerce and food service industry experience a plus.
