Job Title: Business Analyst

Job Description:

An exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking Business Analyst who thrives on defining and delivering customer-facing e-commerce solutions. You will join a leading name in the food and beverage market with 500+ stores across the world. As a Business Analyst you will be responsible to work closely with the Product owner for gathering requirements, defining user stories, and ensuring the delivery of solutions that meet business needs. You will be part of a team that fosters a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and contributes to improving business processes and innovation within your team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to define and refine the product roadmap and translate it into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Work with the engineering team to ensure the delivery of new features and support their implementation using appropriate agile methodologies.
  • Analyze and document business processes and requirements to support the development of new e-commerce solutions.
  • Validate that the deliverables meet business requirements and are of appropriate quality, including participating in sprint demos and providing feedback.
  • Facilitate meetings and discussions to involve the whole team in decision-making processes.
  • Share knowledge within the business analyst community, bringing in new ways of working and improving existing processes.
  • Assist in the optimization of team workflows and processes to achieve agreed business outcomes iteratively.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong analytical skills to understand and document complex business processes and requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Experience in facilitating meetings and team discussions.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners, engineering teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in agile concepts and principles, with experience in iterative delivery.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Extensive experience working with agile teams, including experience with OKRs and quarterly planning.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and working with both on-shore and off-shore teams.
  • Understanding of modern software development practices and techniques (e.g., TDD, build/deployment pipelines).
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Strong understanding of development within an e-commerce environment.
  • Experience working with Product Owners to demonstrate the value of delivery.
  • Ability to apply measures to support process improvement.
