What will you do?

We are looking for a talented Sr. Mobile UI Designer to create thoughtful, amazing user experiences for clients' digital products. The ideal candidate should have strong aesthetic judgment in visual design, typography & layout. The ability to translate high-level requirements, interaction flows, and artifacts and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces is at the heart of this role. Keen understanding and familiarity with the brand required.

Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualizing original ideas that bring simplicity to complex design requirements
  • Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience
  • Execute all visual design stages from initial concepts to final hand-off to engineering
  • Clearly and effectively present milestone deliverables to peers and key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with UX researcher; evaluate and reiterate designs based on user feedback
  • Establish and promote current design guidelines, best practices and standards; understand and keep up with Android and iOS UI guidelines
  • Create and maintain the product’s Mobile Style Guide

Requirements and Skills:

  • BA/BS in interactive design, graphic arts, human factors, computer science or related field with equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of proven UI experience with a strong portfolio and demonstrable UI design skills, including mobile/app work; ability to speak through thought process, challenges, successes, and learnings
  • An appreciation for the iterative nature of the prototyping design process
  • Experience with both Android and iOS platforms
  • Solid experience in creating storyboards and mockups
  • Proficiency in Figma, MIRO, Sketch, or other visual design and wireframing tools
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping
  • Acute sensitivity to user-system interaction
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Experience in e-commerce or food service industries a plus
