We are seeking an experienced Senior Jira Administrator professional to design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade solutions across the Atlassian platform. You will play a critical role in translating business needs into technical solutions that drive efficiency, collaboration, and innovation across the organization.
Your responsibilities
- System Design and Configuration
- Design, build, and maintain scalable solutions across Atlassian products to support enterprise workflows
- Translate business and user requirements into effective system configurations, automations, and dashboards
- Develop and maintain comprehensive system architecture documentation, blueprints, and standards
- Ensure platform stability, performance, and alignment with organizational goals
- Integration and Automation
- Integrate Atlassian tools with enterprise platforms including M365, CI/CD pipelines, and other business systems
- Build and maintain automation solutions using native Atlassian tools, APIs, and scripting (Python, PowerShell, REST, etc.)
- Continuously identify opportunities to streamline processes through intelligent automation
- Support API development and maintenance for seamless cross-platform connectivity
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with product owners, project managers, and technical leads to gather and refine system requirements
- Provide expert guidance on Atlassian capabilities, industry best practices, and governance frameworks
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Act as a trusted advisor on platform strategy and continuous improvement initiatives
Your profile
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience administering and configuring Atlassian products (Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence)
- Strong understanding of workflows, custom fields, permission schemes, and automation rules
- Demonstrated experience integrating Atlassian with external tools and platforms using APIs and scripts
- Familiarity with enterprise IT environments, including identity management, change control, and governance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to think systematically and balance technical precision with user experience
Desirable Skills
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Groovy)
- Knowledge of ITIL, ITSM frameworks, or Agile methodologies
- Atlassian certifications (ACP-100, ACP-200, or equivalent)
- Experience with version control, CI/CD tools, and DevOps practices
