As we continue to expand, we’re looking for experienced Mechanical Design Engineers to join our innovative Machine Design Engineering team. Key Responsibilities for the Senior Design Engineer will include:
- Work as part of a cross-disciplinary team to design and develop next-generation products from concept to launch
- Contribute to the technical roadmap by identifying new technologies and market trends
- Create detailed CAD models
- Develop mechanical, electrical and engineering drawings using Fusion 360
- Drive continuous improvement across products and manufacturing processes
- Develop mechanical components, electronic assemblies, and systems, with a strong focus on functionality, manufacturability, and reliability
- Perform engineering calculations for stress, thermal, and tolerance analysis
- Collaborate closely with applications, materials, procurement, and production teams
- Support prototyping, testing, and validation of new designs
- Troubleshoot and refine designs through iterative development
- Create detailed CAD models and engineering drawings
- Generate comprehensive documentation including BOMs, test plans, and design reports
- Participate in design reviews, FMEAs, and risk assessments
Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications of our Senior Design Engineer:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer
- Hands-on experience in product development, particularly in an R&D or manufacturing environment
- Experience in designing automated machinery or electromechanical systems (control systems, sensors, actuators, conveyors) would be useful but not essential
- A problem-solving mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment
- Proficiency in CAD software (Fusion 360 preferred)
- A genuine enthusiasm for engineering innovation and 3D printing technology
