About the role: We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Soft Services Area Supervisor. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is ready to deliver exceptional results on behalf of the business. The working pattern for this position is 40 hours per week, over 7 days to suit the needs of the business. Therefore, the successful candidate must be able to commute to: Dunstable, Slough, Hemel. A company car and fuel card will be provided as part of the employment package.

Our Cleaning Supervisor will be responsible for:

  • Provide day-to-day supervision of on-site operations, ensuring work is carried out in line with agreed schedules, procedures, and standards.
  • Act as the primary on-site point of contact for employees and our clients.
  • Monitor attendance, performance, and conduct of on-site staff, addressing issues promptly and escalating where appropriate.
  • Actively carry out cleaning duties as required to support site operations and maintain cleanliness standards.
  • Support the induction and training of new staff, including demonstrating correct cleaning methods, equipment use, and site procedures.
  • Manage a team of Mobile Cleaning Operatives.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies, including reporting hazards, incidents, and near misses.
  • Carry out regular stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records for on-site materials and equipment.
  • Request and coordinate orders for stock and consumables in line with operational requirements.
  • Support management by identifying operational issues, staffing requirements, or risks and reporting these in a timely manner.
