We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Helpdesk Scheduler to join our professional support team. In this key role you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Works across your area, ensuring engineers are in the right place at the right time.
- Liaising with clients, booking appointments, and sending assignment updates while keeping the helpdesk in the loop.
- Ordering essential parts and arranging access equipment to keep jobs moving without delay.
- Being a key point of contact, answering calls, helping clients and colleagues with queries.
- Organising return visits and managing follow-up communications, supporting engineers by allocating work, confirming availability with engineering managers, and issuing idle-time notifications when needed.
- Escalating SLA risks early and effectively, following the escalation process to keep service levels on track.
- Closing the loop - checking completed works and updating the rota to keep everyone informed.
