We are looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager who can spot opportunity, build powerful partnerships, and turn conversations into long-term commercial success. If youโre driven by growth, relationships, and making things happen, this is your chance to shape the future of FM with us. This full-time position is ideally suited to a candidate based in or around the M62 corridor, with regular travel across the North of England and Scotland.
The role will focus on targeting commercial and industrial businesses within designated sectors, identifying opportunities to deliver integrated FM solutions that meet client needs. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for building a strong pipeline of new opportunities, engaging key decision-makers, and securing local and regional FM contracts through a consultative and relationship-driven sales approach.
This includes developing new client relationships, managing the full sales lifecycle from initial contact through to contract award, and working closely with internal operational teams to ensure proposals are aligned with service delivery capabilities and client expectations.
Please note that this isnโt an exhaustive list of duties. The successful candidate will be supplied with a copy of our in-depth job description.
Job Requirements:
The successful candidate will have proven sales experience and demonstrate strong lead-generation capability. While prior Facilities Management experience is not essential, a solid understanding of the service sector and B2B sales environment would be highly advantageous.

While relevant qualifications in sales, business development, or a related discipline would be valuable, they are not essential for the right candidate. We have an extensive training programme in place for all employees, designed to encourage continuous professional development and support long-term progression within the company.
