We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Soft Services Area Supervisor. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is ready to deliver exceptional results on behalf of the business. The working pattern for this position is 40 hours per week, over 7 days to suit the needs of the business. Therefore, the successful candidate must be able to commute to Hull & surrounding areas. A company car and fuel card will be provided as part of the employment package.

Our Cleaning Supervisor will be responsible for:

  • Several sites, members of staff and mobile cleaners.
  • Providing day-to-day supervision of on-site operations, ensuring work is carried out in line with agreed schedules, procedures, and standards.
  • Acting as the primary on-site point of contact for employees and our clients.
  • Monitoring attendance, performance, and conduct of on-site staff, addressing issues promptly and escalating where appropriate.
  • Actively carrying out cleaning duties as required to support site operations and maintain cleanliness standards.
  • Supporting the induction and training of new staff, including demonstrating correct cleaning methods, equipment use, and site procedures.
  • Managing a team of Mobile Cleaning Operatives.
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and company policies, including reporting hazards, incidents, and near misses.
  • Carrying out regular stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory records for on-site materials and equipment.
  • Requesting and coordinating orders for stock and consumables in line with operational requirements.
  • Supporting management by identifying operational issues, staffing requirements, or risks and reporting these in a timely manner.
