About the role: We currently have an exciting opportunity for a site-based Cleaning Supervisor. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is ready to deliver exceptional results on behalf of the business. The shift pattern for this position is Monday to Friday 07.30am to 16.00pm. This is a static position; therefore, the successful candidate must be able to commute to UB3 4DG.
Our Cleaning Supervisor will be responsible for:
- Provide day-to-day supervision of on-site operations, ensuring work is carried out in line with agreed schedules, procedures, and standards.
- Act as the primary on-site point of contact for employees and our clients.
- Monitor attendance, performance, and conduct of on-site staff, addressing issues promptly and escalating where appropriate.
- Actively carry out cleaning duties as required to support site operations and maintain cleanliness standards.
- Support the induction and training of new staff, including demonstrating correct cleaning methods, equipment use, and site procedures.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies, including reporting hazards, incidents, and near misses.
- Carry out regular stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records for on-site materials and equipment.
- Request and coordinate orders for stock and consumables in line with operational requirements.
- Support management by identifying operational issues, staffing requirements, or risks and reporting these in a timely manner.
