Salary: £12.21p/h

Hours: Monday to Friday 16.30pm – 22.00pm

Location: Nortonthorpe industrial park, Wakefield road Scissett HD8 9FB

Business Description: Phoenox Textiles Ltd are a family-owned textile manufacturer based in Clayton West, Huddersfield and we have been operating in this location since 1954. We have a wide range of award-winning brands and distribute worldwide. Having started with just 10 members of staff we now employ over 150 people and continue to innovate and expand in our sector.

Job Description:

We are seeking diligent and detail-oriented Pickers and Packer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately picked and packed and prepared for shipment. This position requires a strong focus on quality control and efficient materials handling within a warehouse environment. The Packer will be responsible for maintaining an organised workspace while adhering to safety protocols.

Duties to include, but not limited to:

· Accurate picking and despatching using a hand scanner

· Preparing pallets ready for despatch

· Quality control

· Keeping the department clean and tidy

· Always Adhering to health and safety

· Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations is preferred.

Please note: There is some manual handling involved within this role the successful applicant will be required to be physically fit.

Qualifications and Experience –

· Recent experience within a similar role, preferable in textiles but not essential.

· Strong time management to meet deadlines.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Good literacy and numeracy skills required.

· Knowledge of quality control procedures and attention to detail.

· A friendly and approachable demeanour as to represent the company well.

· Knowledge of basic computer software and handheld scanners.
