Phoenix TM designs and manufactures industrial temperature measurement systems, operating up to 1300°C, for processes such as paint curing, heat treatment of metals, food processing and ceramics firing.

The company sells globally from the UK, Germany and USA, offering both standard and bespoke equipment.

The UK office designs, assembles and calibrates thermal barriers and data loggers in a UKAS‑accredited laboratory.

Apprentice Production Technician

The team is looking to recruit an apprentice for the role of Production Technician.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, calibrate and test Phoenix TM Data Loggers.
  • Assemble Phoenix TM Thermal Barriers and fill heatsinks.
  • Process sales orders.
  • Prepare equipment for shipping.
  • Control stock levels.
  • Unpack parts and process as required.
  • Perform quality control checks.
  • Label parts and keep stock neat and organised.
  • Control materials.
  • Raise purchase orders.
  • Progress purchase orders.
  • Repair, test and recalibrate returned customer equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy assembly area.

Upon successful completion of the course, graduates will become full‑time production technicians with a solid working standard.
