POST:Quality Manager

ROLE DEFINITION
The Quality Manager is responsible for developing, maintaining, and communicating the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure that products, services, and project outputs meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements. This role leads quality assurance and improvement initiatives across design, delivery, and operational functions, promoting a right-first-time culture and continuous improvement. The Quality Manager works collaboratively across departments and projects to embed quality standards and drive performance excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, improve, and maintain the QMS in collaboration various Heads of Department
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, including ISO 9001 and client-specific requirements
- Monitor and evaluate operational processes to ensure adherence to quality benchmarks
- Conduct audits and inspections, with a focus on onsite installation quality
- Lead and mentor teams on quality principles, promoting ownership and accountability
- Deliver training and guidance on quality procedures and tools across all levels of the organisation
- Analyse performance metrics and report on trends to inform decision-making
- Facilitate root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Champion a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the business
- Early engagement at preconstruction with the Planning Dept to ensure QSOs and ATPs scheduling is realistic and in-line with operational capability.
- Development of the QSOs templates to include snag trends and define specification requirements.
- Establish and manage Phoenix QSO templates
- Establish and manage with the T&C Dept, pre-commissioning checklists / inspections (performance focus)
- Procore team / project role out including T&C.
- Procore on-site in-depth training.
- Procore project specific processes and reporting set up.
- Assist the site teams best use of Procore.
- Assist the site teams to generate and manage snag remediation programmes. (performance focus)
- 1st point of contact for Procore troubleshooting.
- Be an additional resource to site teams.
