Our organization is looking for a tech-savvy individual to work as IT Quality Auditor and Analyst to help deliver web & backend process IT projects with quality and data protection compliance for our clients.
Your main responsibility for this position will be auditing systems, ensuring security, and aligning with standards like GDPR and ISO 27001.
You will evaluate software quality using automated and manual tests, find potential bugs, and identify glitches.
As an IT Auditor & QA you will check a product’s functionality to ensure it meets the customer’s requirements.
You will collaborate with developers & web designers to improve web, app and backend software effectiveness while ensuring software products meet the desired quality standards.
Projects are to be delivered with help from offshore development teams based in India who speak Hindi, hence knowledge of spoken Hindi is must.
- Role & Responsibilities
- Reviewing and analysing software and system specifications, developing and creating test plans and effective strategies
- Perform comprehensive IT audits, evaluating security protocols, compliance measures, and risk controls.
- Analysing the system and ensuring the test strategies align with the requirements of the development process
- Assess access control mechanisms and data integrity to ensure robust system security and regulatory alignment.
- Identifying bugs and creating reports to highlight the status of the software application
- Prepare clear, actionable audit reports and collaborated with stakeholders to implement remediation strategies.
- Conduct system testing to validate compliance and functional integrity and setting quality standards
- Running debug programmes to fix the defects and updating all bug databases with accurate information
- Providing assistance with troubleshooting issues
- Collaborating with QA engineers and software developers
- Researching new testing processes and technologies
- Working in cross-functional teams to ensure quality during a software development project
- Driving efficiency and innovation in the testing and auditing procedures
- Documenting the testing procedure, testing progress and results for Quality Audits
Skills & Experience required
- Degree in any field coupled with experience in IT testing and data protection compliance
- Fluency with Hindi language is a Must.
- Experience in System Security, Risk Assessment, User Access Control, Compliance Analysis.
- Experience of web development projects supported by Indian Offshore Development teams is a must.
- Must have good knowledge of responsive websites projects and web testing frameworks like Selenium
- Relevant experience to date with UK or international startups, SMEs, Web Design Agencies.
- Candidate must have experience working in Agile environments and on tools like Jira and Confluence
- Excellent problem solving, organizational and time management skills
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications (especially Word, Excel and Power Point) and Google Docs, Google Sheets as well
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision and tight deadlines
