Phoenix Futures Essex Liaison & Diversion team have a brilliant opportunity for someone looking to gain experience working with people facing multiple needs in the justice system. We are recruiting a dynamic Recovery Support Worker working in partnership with EPUT (Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust) delivering the Essex Liaison & Diversion Service throughout the County of Essex, including Southend & Thurrock.
The team have 1 vacancy, mainly based in Southend & Thurrock, with the option of a hybrid approach including working from home, Monday to Friday, 9 – 5. Your day to day is varied, the successful candidates will work alongside EPUT and the Police to support vulnerable individuals, including young people into treatment/services in a bid to divert them from reoffending or custody. This will include supporting the completion of DRR/ATR assessments and high quality reports to assist the court in imposing appropriate disposals for those with problematic alcohol and/or substance use, meeting people in the community and offering telephone support.
