Lead Operational Excellence in a High-Growth Business
We're recruiting for a Senior Operations Manager to join a rapidly expanding organisation undergoing significant transformation and growth.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced operations leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys driving performance, leading people, and implementing operational improvements.
Initially, you'll take responsibility for establishing and managing a dual-shift operation, ensuring service excellence, efficiency, and strong team engagement. Longer term, this role offers the potential to support additional UK and European operations as the business continues to expand.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operational performance across warehousing and logistics functions
- Develop and implement effective shift patterns and working practices
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across people, processes and performance
- Manage operational KPIs, service levels and productivity targets
- Build and lead high-performing teams through strong coaching and leadership
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to support future growth plans
- Foster a positive, customer-focused culture across the operation
About You
We're looking for someone who combines strong operational expertise with excellent leadership skills.
You'll ideally have:
✅ Senior leadership experience within warehousing, logistics, manufacturing or supply chain environments
✅ Experience implementing and managing shift operations
✅ Strong people management and employee engagement skills
✅ A proven ability to drive operational improvement and change
✅ Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
✅ A customer-centric approach and relationship-building mindset
✅ Commercial awareness with the ability to make sound operational decisions
