We are seeking to employ individuals for the post of Café Bar & Kitchen Assistant.
About the role
Phoenix is looking for enthusiastic people to join our team as Casual Café Bar & Kitchen Assistants. Our café bar serves freshly prepared food from our in-house chefs, barista-style coffee and a great drinks menu. We also run The Nest, our rooftop terrace bar, and provide hospitality for events, screenings and conferences. It's an exciting time to join us as we continue to develop our food and drink offer at one of Leicester's most popular cultural venues.
Key responsibilities will include
- Serving customers in a friendly, professional manner
- Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks
- Supporting the kitchen team with pot washing and general cleaning
- Clearing tables and keeping the café, bar and kitchen clean and tidy
- Following good hygiene, health and safety practices
- Being knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Phoenix's products and services
- We'll also help with pot washing, cleaning equipment and keeping food preparation areas hygienic.
Requirements
- You must be over 18
- You must have good availability from Thursday to Monday, for both daytime and evening shifts
- You should have a friendly, team-oriented approach and strong communication skills
- You'll need to be willing to support both front-of-house and kitchen operations
This is a casual, zero-hours role. We're looking for people with good availability from Thursday to Monday, including both daytime and evening shifts.
