We have an incredible opportunity to join us here at Phoenix Group as a Business Planning Manager to join our Investor Relations team.

Job Type: Fixed Term Contract - 9 months

Location: Based Old Bailey, London working in the office 4 days a week

Flexible working: All of our roles are open to part-time, job-share and other types of flexibility. We will discuss what is important to you and balancing this with business requirements during the recruitment process.

Salary and benefits: Up to £55k pro rata DOE plus 16% bonus up to 32%, private medical cover, 38 days annual leave, excellent pension, 12x salary life assurance, career breaks, income protection, 3x volunteering days and much more.

The role will provide an efficient, effective, and highly confidential administrative and secretarial support service to the IR Director, with involvement in Financial Results, Investor and Board activities, including supporting their work, invariably of a sensitive nature. This is an internal and external focused role, requiring someone who is adept to change, managing varying priorities, working well under pressure and dealing with high profile stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Coordination of commercially sensitive and highly confidential information and documents
  • Effectively and efficiently manage and respond to communications (verbal and written), directed to the IR Director and team
  • Effectively plan and maintain the diary of the IR Director, ensuring effective and efficient use of time.
  • Work on own initiative on ad hoc projects as required
  • Confident user of the Microsoft office suite with the ability to manage and prioritise conflicting priorities.
  • Manage business travel, expenses, HR and other processes.
  • Attend team meetings to take minutes, monitor actions and present/provide updates as appropriate.

The candidate will be organised, detail-orientated problem solver with a can-do attitude who enjoys a varied role in a dynamic environment.

What are we looking for?

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of successfully interacting with all levels of the organisation
  • Flexibility, with a can do attitude and excellent problem solving skills, reacting quickly to both internal and external business requirements
  • Produce reports, presentations and various communications in line with company standards and deadlines
  • Experience of dealing with investors / investment banks is desirable.
  • Excellent work ethic and a willingness to take the initiative and ownership to see things through to completion.
