Expression of interest – Business Development Director
Our client is entering an exciting phase of growth and is looking to appoint a Business Development Director to help drive the continued expansion of its global fund management platform. As the firm broadens its reach across asset classes, fund structures, and jurisdictions, this newly created role will sit at the heart of its client acquisition strategy.
The Business Development Director will play a pivotal role in identifying and securing new client relationships, partnering with fund managers, wealth managers, family offices, and institutional sponsors who are seeking platform solutions. Taking full ownership of the business development lifecycle, the successful candidate will lead the process from initial market engagement and prospect qualification, through commercial negotiation, structuring discussions, onboarding, and ultimately transitioning new clients seamlessly into the firm’s delivery teams.
This is a highly visible, front-office role offering both autonomy and meaningful impact, with the opportunity to directly contribute to the firm’s continued global expansion. We would be keen to engage with individuals who bring:
- A strong track record of success, ideally with 7+ years’ experience in financial services particularly within fund management platforms, fund administration, regulatory hosting, or asset management solutions.
- Experience operating within global, regulated platforms with exposure to multiple jurisdictions.
- An entrepreneurial and collaborative mindset, combined with the ability to originate, develop, and close new client relationships with a high degree of independence.
