Our vastly experienced and highly qualified team equips us with an extensive range of services, covering all areas of yacht management.
We at Phoenix pride ourselves on providing an excellent working environment and exceptional service to our clients. We are currently seeking an accomplished and highly driven Charter Broker to join our team in Dubai or remotely in Europe.
The ideal candidate will be a sales-driven professional with a proven track record in the luxury yacht charter market, possessing a deep understanding of yachting destinations, vessels, and client relationship management. You will deliver outstanding yacht charters from enquiry through to execution. You will work as part of a dynamic, high performing team to develop and manage new business, maintain excellent customer relationships, achieve sales targets, and strengthen our brand and market presence. This role requires exceptional communication skills, a meticulous eye for detail, and a commitment to providing an unparalleled level of service.
You would need to be flexible as there may be occasions when you are required to work additional hours or at weekends, outside of our core business hours to ensure service is covered, or attend key industry events.

Key Responsibilities
Client Management:
- Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) individuals and repeat clients. Understand their specific needs and preferences to deliver a bespoke charter experience.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with an existing client base, understanding their evolving needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Leverage professional networks, referrals, and company-provided leads to expand client portfolio.
Charter Planning:
- Work closely with clients to develop tailored itineraries, recommend suitable yachts, and coordinate all aspects of the charter, including provisioning, crew arrangements, and onboard activities.
Market Expertise:
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of best-in-class yachts and market trends, popular and emerging cruising destinations, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
- Stay abreast of the latest market developments, economic trends, and regulatory changes affecting the yachting industry.
Administrative Duties:
- Prepare detailed charter agreements, manage contracts, and handle all financial transactions related to charter bookings with accuracy and discretion.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and sales activities in the CRM system.
- The employee shall assist in the creation of marketing materials and online listings to effectively showcase yachts for charter.
Networking:
- Represent the company at key industry events, boat shows, and networking functions to expand your professional network and promote the brand.
Team Collaboration & Mentorship:
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams including marketing, legal, and administration to ensure all charter documentation is accurate and complete, overseeing a seamless client service.
- Potentially mentor and guide junior charter brokers, sharing best practices and market knowledge.
Required skills and qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Charter Broker in the luxury yachting industry with a proven track record of high-value charter sales achievements and exceeding targets.
- Extensive knowledge of key yachting destinations (e.g., Mediterranean, Caribbean, Maldives etc.)
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills. As well as strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential with the ability to interface regularly with internal and external personnel at all levels. A professional demeanor and appearance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in other languages would be a plus but not essential.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
- Flexibility – with a can do / will do attitude as well as willingness to learn and grow within the industry.
- Ability to take initiative and always thinking one-step ahead.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Passionate about the boating and yachting industry.
- Flexibility to work weekends and attend events as required.
- Solid computing skills; proficient in Microsoft Office package, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.
