Our vastly experienced and highly qualified team equips us with an extensive range of services, covering all areas of yacht management.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and professional Technical Project Manager to join our growing and dynamic company. This position will be to support a complex yacht refit project within the Vessel Work List (VWL) scope. The role provides technical oversight, coordination, and problem-solving across the vessels teams, shipyard designers, and third-party suppliers to ensure successful delivery of refit works. Objectives of this role:
- Provide technical oversight of systems and components for refit projects, ensuring alignment with design intent and yacht-industry standards.
- Act as a technical interface between vessel Project Manager, crew, shipyard, interior teams, and third-party supplier.
- Coordinate Owner-Supplied Item (OSI) procurement, logistics, delivery, storage, and installation sequencing.
- Close technical and information gaps for commercial yards by researching yacht-specific equipment, suppliers, and lead times.
- Proactively coordinate stakeholders and meetings to support effective project execution.
- Provide technical input to interior replacement projects, focusing on system integration, access, drainage, and serviceability.
- To perform the job in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures.
- To perform any other duties as may be reasonably required from time-to-time.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Strong technical background in yacht refits, shipbuilding, or complex marine projects.
- Proven experience coordinating between shipyards, vessel crews, designers, and specialist suppliers.
- Solid understanding of yacht systems, electrical requirements, HVAC, interior integration, and specialist equipment.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical detail into clear guidance for non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong initiative and attention to detail.
