About the Role
We\’re looking for caring and responsible Passenger Transport Assistants (PTAs) to accompany young passengers on their journeys to and from school. This is a self-employed position based in Newcastle, starting as soon as a suitable school run becomes available.

As a PTA, you\’ll play a key role in ensuring the safe, punctual and comfortable transport of service users between home and school. Journeys typically take place during morning and afternoon school hours, making this an ideal opportunity for someone seeking flexible, part-time work.

Many of our school runs are for children and young people with additional or complex needs, including disabilities. You may be required to complete specialist training to ensure their safety and wellbeing during travel.

Requirements

• An enhanced DBS check is required
• If you already have a DBS registered on the Update Service, you can start immediately
• If not, we will process your DBS application (this may take up to 6 weeks)

Pay: £60.00-£150.00 per week
