Due to continued growth, we are now hiring a Quest Migration Consultant to join our Consultancy team within IT Services, supporting customers with complex Microsoft migration and transformation projects. This role will focus on delivering migration projects across Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments, using Quest technologies to support customer transitions, coexistence and modernisation.
What will you be doing?
- Deliver migration projects across Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Support the scoping of migration projects, helping define requirements and solution approach.
- Carry out discovery activities across AD DS and M365 environments.
- Contribute to the design, planning and delivery of migration solutions.
- Work across the full project lifecycle, from initial engagement through to delivery and handover.
- Support multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, quality and customer expectations are met.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
- Help develop and improve team processes, standards and ways of working.
- Share knowledge and support other team members through mentoring and collaboration.
- Maintain relevant certifications and knowledge required for delivery.

What are we looking for?
The right person for this role will have experience in a similar consultancy role where you have exposure to the full project lifecycle from initial scoping & pre‑sales through to discovery, implementation, delivery and project handover.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience delivering Active Directory (AD DS) cross‑forest and cross‑domain migrations.
- Extensive experience delivering Microsoft 365 tenant‑to‑tenant migrations.
- Strong hands‑on expertise with Quest migration technologies.
- In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and hybrid identity environments.
- Solid understanding of core Microsoft workloads.
- Experience planning and delivering large‑scale migration projects.
- Ability to design and execute SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Teams migration strategies.
- Experience with native Microsoft migration technologies.
- Working knowledge of Windows Server infrastructure and networking fundamentals.
- Familiarity with migration and reporting solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and problem‑solving skills.
Practical stuff
Primary location is our HQ in Pocklington (YO42), this role can be largely remote with visits once per month.
