Due to continued growth, we are hiring a Microsoft Licensing Executive who can support Phoenix’s education customers as a subject matter expert.
What will you be doing?
- Act as a Microsoft Licensing subject matter expert, supporting Sales and education customers
- Support new and renewal agreements (EES, EA/EAS, SCE, CSP) end‑to‑end
- Provide timely responses to licensing queries and escalations
- Produce cost models, projections, bids and rebate calculations
- Peer review outputs and support team knowledge sharing
- Deliver customer meetings, workshops and tender presentations
- Advise on best practice for renewals, anniversaries and optimisation
- Track key licensing milestones and ensure high customer satisfaction
- Follow information security and data protection standards

What are we looking for?
The right person for this role will have some existing knowledge of Microsoft licensing agreements but you do not have to currently be in a Licensing Specialist role. This knowledge can be built up via experience in other sales, administration or operational roles within a similar channel / reseller environment such as Phoenix.
Key Skills & Experience
- Experience working within another VAR or MSP environment
- Strong understanding of Microsoft licensing programmes, contracts and frameworks
- Commercial awareness with experience supporting or working alongside sales teams
- Ability to prioritise and manage workloads under pressure to meet deadlines
- Proactive and resourceful problem‑solver with strong attention to detail
- Confident communicator, able to build relationships with internal teams and Microsoft stakeholders
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Flexible approach to working, including travel and out‑of‑hours support where required
Practical stuff
Where is the role based? Primary location is our HQ in Pocklington (YO42) but this role can be remote with monthly visits to the HQ and regular travel to customer sites.
