Job Overview
The Neighborhood at Sheffield is seeking an RN/LPN to join their team as a Wellness Director.
The Wellness Director is responsible for providing overall leadership and management of the health and well‑being of the residents within the community.
Responsibilities
The Wellness Director’s duties include
- Managing all clinical programs and ensuring quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
- Assisting in the training and onboarding of clinical and care coordinator team members.
- Partnering with the Regional Director of Resident Care to provide Medication Care Manager training (in states where allowed).
Requirements
- Must be a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse with an Associate or Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of 2 years department management experience working with elders or disabled individuals.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Multi‑department experience strongly recommended.
- Knowledge and experience in the Assisted Living industry and dementia care or skilled nursing.
Skills and Abilities
- Understanding of infection control procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to schedule, orient, and train staff.
- Proficient in using MS Office.
- Understanding and implementation of Personalized Service Plans.
- Understanding of advanced directives and end‑of‑life care.
