We are currently advising a Private Equity-backed client on the appointment of a CFO into a healthcare / medical devices business. The firm is a specialist provider of medical technologies and solutions, delivering world-class innovative products and services to the healthcare industry.
Reporting into the Board and the CEO, the CFO will lead the development and execution of a PE-aligned financial strategy, ensuring value creation objectives are met at a time of significant accelerated growth.
Due to the clear growth agenda, it will be paramount for the successful candidate to clearly demonstrate that they can:
- operate and influence thinking, decision making, and consensus at the Board level,
- make strategic decisions for the overall success of the firm,
- support the PE sponsor and Board with investor engagement and M&A opportunities when appropriate, strategically preparing for exit readiness (over time), whilst also holding the wheel on monthly/quarterly financial performance.
We therefore seek to identify commercially minded, finance leaders who have worked in healthcare, medical devices, or supply chain sales environments. It will be highly advantageous to have worked or be currently working in a PE-backed environment, with the ability to showcase a clear understanding of the dynamics of working in a PE-backed small/mid-cap environment. This understanding and experience will likely complement our client's very focused growth equity agenda.
It is a hugely exciting time to explore a leadership role with this firm. New products, ongoing customer demand, and highly tuned, laser-sharp growth focus are key drivers for the CEO, the Board, and the PE sponsor, and will make this a highly rewarding and satisfying employment opportunity.
Please note that only candidates who have the appropriate credentials will be contacted.
