Phoenix Solutions and Consulting are supporting a well established commercial vehicle workshop in Witham who are looking to add an HGV Shift Supervisor to their team. This is a hands on, semi productive role, ideal for a senior HGV Technician ready to step up, or an existing Supervisor looking for a stable long term position.
The role:
- Supervising a shift of HGV Technicians
- Issuing work and providing technical support
- MOT preparation, servicing, diagnostics and repairs
- Managing workflow and productivity
- Maintaining high quality and safety standards
- Dealing with customers professionally
- Ensuring good housekeeping and health and safety compliance
What we are looking for:
- Experience as an HGV or Commercial Vehicle Technician
- Up to date technical knowledge
- Supervisory or senior technician experience preferred
- Relevant motor vehicle qualification
- Confident communicator with leadership ability
- HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence essential
Hours:
42.5 hours per week
Early shift Monday to Friday 6.00am to 3.00pm
Late shift Monday to Friday 2.00pm to 11.00pm
Alternate Saturday mornings paid at time and a half
Benefits:
