Airframe Fitter

Phoenix Solutions & Consulting have partnered with a leading Global OEM who are seeking an experienced Airframe / Aerospace fitter to join in their Manchester based facility. The successful candidate will fit core products for key civil and military clients. You will have a strong attention to detail and be able to produce high quality work to tight tolerances.\\n\\nResponsibilities:\\n\\n * Assembly of our core product working with a variety of metallic structures\\n\\n * Perform all assembly operations in line with our Standard Operating Procedures, whilst working to the approved quality standards\\n\\n * Utilise Key processes: drilling, countersinking, riveting, use of sealants, fitting helicoils, bearing, bushes\\n\\n * Strong attention to detail\\n\\n * Ability to ensure that the correct equipment is used and fully calibrated.\\n\\n * Committed to working safely and comply with the 5S standards in place.\\n\\nQualifications:\\n\\n * Aerospace airframe / structural assembly experience, preferably working within the aerospace industry\\n\\n * Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications\\n\\n * BPSS security clearance (includes DBS and 3 years employment history)\\n\\n * Right to live and work in the United Kingdom\\n\\nWhat’s on offer?\\n\\n * Competitive salary.\\n\\n * Exciting benefits package with access to discounts from leading retailers.\\n\\n * Generous annual leave entitlement.\\n\\n * Discounted gym membership.\\n\\n * Career advancement opportunities within the company.\\n\\n * A supportive and dynamic work environment
