We are recruiting for a maintenance plumber to cover PPM and reactive maintenance on a mobile basis in the North West area.
The role involves general repairs and upkeep of water and mechanical services on commercial facilities, compliance checks, and general plumbing upkeep.
Responsibilities
- Travel to each facility completing reactive repairs, planned maintenance and small works projects.
- Hot and cold water feeds.
- Pumps and valves.
- Radiators and heating.
- Drainage.
- Bathroom/toilet pipework and water services.
- Fabric maintenance duties – basic joinery, painting, etc.
- Leak repair.
- Low impact prevention and thermostatic mixer valves (TMV), tap temperatures.
- Other associated tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Maintenance and general plumbing experience; qualified plumbers will receive a higher salary.
- Several years of prior experience, preferably in a similar role, with good customer service skills.
- Self‑motivated with a "Can do" customer attitude at all times.
- Valid driving licence.
- Ability and willingness to complete general fabric maintenance tasks.
- Knowledge of building services (water, heating, ventilation and waste).
- Prepared to undertake training as required by the post and contract manager.
- Operate all systems within the building competently, effectively and efficiently, adhering to relevant guidelines and bulletins.
