We are recruiting for a maintenance plumber to cover PPM and reactive maintenance on a mobile basis in the North West area.

The role involves general repairs and upkeep of water and mechanical services on commercial facilities, compliance checks, and general plumbing upkeep.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to each facility completing reactive repairs, planned maintenance and small works projects.
  • Hot and cold water feeds.
  • Pumps and valves.
  • Radiators and heating.
  • Drainage.
  • Bathroom/toilet pipework and water services.
  • Fabric maintenance duties – basic joinery, painting, etc.
  • Leak repair.
  • Low impact prevention and thermostatic mixer valves (TMV), tap temperatures.
  • Other associated tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • Maintenance and general plumbing experience; qualified plumbers will receive a higher salary.
  • Several years of prior experience, preferably in a similar role, with good customer service skills.
  • Self‑motivated with a "Can do" customer attitude at all times.
  • Valid driving licence.
  • Ability and willingness to complete general fabric maintenance tasks.
  • Knowledge of building services (water, heating, ventilation and waste).
  • Prepared to undertake training as required by the post and contract manager.
  • Operate all systems within the building competently, effectively and efficiently, adhering to relevant guidelines and bulletins.
