We are recruiting for an Industrial / Controls Electrician to complete electrical work on control systems, panel wiring and motor systems. Permanent position paying circa £42,000 plus overtime. On-call TBC. Mon‑Fri days. Van and fuel card supplied (personal use).
Electrician Description
- Complete electrical works on panels and control systems
- To repair and maintain industrial electrical systems and motors
- To work electrical projects and to assess all electrical plans and installations
- To carry out electrical PPM and reactive maintenance
- To ensure that all critical works is completed at the request of the end user, ensuring that this is in line with SLA’s
- Ensure H&S, RAMS and H&S documentation are correct
- Working on commercial grade facilities
- To complete minor fabrication and instrument engineering and repair controls and panel systems
Skills & Background Required
- Recognised professional apprenticeship or equivalent
- Electrical training NVQ Level 3 Grade
- 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
- Experience of industrial grade plant
- Experience of panel wiring, panel and control systems
- Ideally to have experience of motor systems
- Able to build good relationships at all levels, internally and externally
- Valid driving license
