We have a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Biased Data Centre Shift Engineer to be based at one of the legacy Data Centre Campuses in and around Surrey and Sussex. The site consists of 3 Data Centres, all with dedicated engineering maintenance operations teams in place, which adds to the collaborative and cohesive working environment that exists.
These sites have been earmarked for some massive CAPEX project enhancement modernisation. Any engineer looking to join will be part of the system upgrades and site improvements, making it a very interesting place to work, in terms of manufacturers' courses on new plant and systems being installed and commissioned.
Working directly for one of the top five data hosting companies globally, this role also comes with a number of career opportunities down the line. We are in search of a conscientious, hardworking, and resolute technically minded Electrical biased Shift Engineer.
High Voltage experience is a plus; however, a comprehensive and in-depth working understanding of all electrical UPS systems, generators, BMS, fire suppression systems, general HVAC, and facilities maintenance procedures and processes, as well as a good understanding of cooling and mechanical plant, is advantageous.
