Job Title: Shift Technician
Salary: Up to £56,000 DOE
Shift Pattern: Continental days and nights
Essential Qualifications: Electrical Bias, Data centre/Critical site experience
Desirable Qualifications: HVAP MUST (Either expired or in date)
Typical Duties Relating to Role: PPMs, maintenance, switching, generators
Interview Process: Two stages, teams and onsite
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that routine PPM’s are carried out to all mechanical and electrical plant in accordance with site task schedules and asset lists.
- Perform all electrical work including lighting, wiring, testing, alarm systems, BMS, and lighting systems.
- Ensure all work is carried out to a high standard and in accordance with industry practices.
- This role requires a HV qualification and the individual must obtain Authorised Person status to meet contract requirements.
- Complete reactive tasks throughout the building and proactively identify areas for improvement.
- Handle reactive calls, including concessionary stores and fabric-related items.
- Work in a safe manner at all times and escalate incidents or hazards promptly to your line manager.
- Ensure plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to maintain plant in serviceable order; escalate concerns to the Shift Manager.
- Maintain suitable spares for maintenance and reactive works, providing parts lists and estimated timescales for remedial actions.
