We are recruiting for a maintenance electrician completing PPM and reactive maintenance across multiple facility types in the Newcastle area. You will be expected to have good all-round knowledge of other FM disciplines and general maintenance. The role is a Permanent position paying circa Β£38,000 basic. Mon-Fri 40 hours per week days. Overtime available. On call 1 in 4/6 Β£100 standby payment. Vehicle supplied with personal use.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Completing electrical maintenance across commercial grade facilities.
- To undertake planned and reactive maintenance tasks on electrical systems.
- To cover all maintenance of lighting, emergency systems, building services plant room electrical systems.
- To complete PPMs in line with SLA and KPI agreements.
- To respond to Helpdesk requests, providing a professional and timely service.
- To support the other members of the maintenance team with ad-hoc tasks across all disciplines.
- Basic mechanical and fabric tasks where required.
- Compliance checks.
- Small works projects.
Skills & Background Required
- Recognised professional engineering qualification, Level 3.
- Willing to complete general building services and plant maintenance.
- 18th edition.
- Proven building maintenance experience within a commercial environment.
- Must be presentable and reliable.
- Valid Driving license.
