Excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Plumber / Mechanical Engineer to join a busy and successful maintenance team to work on a large scale facility in the Blackburn area.
The role is a permanent position paying circa £32,000, Mon-Fri 40 hours per week days. On call TBA.
Description
Within the maintenance plumber role you will be carrying out all planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks across the site. The role will require a flexible approach as you will often be called to carryout or support works that are outside your core discipline.
Duties & Responsibilities
Commercial plumbing and leak repair
Building services maintenance
Small works refurbishments
To complete PPM’s in line with SLA and KPI agreements
To provide H&S and compliance engineering on each facility
To undertake compliance checks – tap temps / TMV’s etc.
Work on general maintenance to AHU’s, FCU’s etc.
To update the CAFM system and log job status etc.
To respond to Helpdesk requests, providing a professional and timely service
To support the other members of the maintenance team with ad-hoc tasks across all disciplines
Skills & Background Required :
Recognised professional qualificatione.g. Plumbing
Maintenance background in commercial sized buildings
Must be presentable and reliable
Be capable of passing a security check
Willing to complete work across other areas of maintenance
Able to build good relationships at all levels, internally and externally
Strong planning and workload management skills with the ability to manage short term and long term activities to agreed deadlines
