We are recruiting for a Mobile Maintenance Joiner / Builder to complete PPM and reactive maintenance of fabric building services on commercial facilities across the Manchester / Merseyside / North West region (occasional travel to the North East).
The role is permanent with a salary of £34k – £37k. Mon-Fri 40 hours per week plus overtime. Van and fuel card provided.
Maintenance Joiner Description:
- This is a key position, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple site locations.
- The purpose of this role is to carry out building fabric services to the sites.
- All work will be completed to high standards in an efficient and cost-effective manner, complying with all Health and Safety legislation.
- Assist engineers or other technicians with maintenance work.
- General joinery maintenance and small repair works.
- General painting, patch plastering, ceiling tiles, and other building works.
- Respond promptly to service requests, assess requirements, and carry out repairs.
- Prioritize and complete maintenance and repairs within agreed timescales.
- Ensure tools and equipment are available and maintained.
- Attend other sites within the cluster as needed.
- Attend training courses as necessary.
- Comply with Health and Safety policies.
- Fire door inspections.
- Represent the company professionally and maintain good relationships with client colleagues.
Requirements:
- Ideally a qualified Joiner with certification.
- Previous experience in building maintenance.
- Quality, speed, and efficiency of work.
- Valid driving license.
- Good general fabric trade and construction/building experience.
