PRS are currently working with a growing design consultancy client based in Romford who are seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to work on a variety of projects within the Building Services sector.
Salary range: £55k-£70k
Job Responsibilities:
- Work on a variety of project sectors, preferable experience (Rail, Local Authorities, Commercial and Educational).
- Head up projects – facing clients and liaising on project progress.
- Provide project reports to senior team and the client.
- Modify and finalise design specifications.
- Software used: Hevacomp/Bentley Energy Simulator.
- Undertake condition surveys and reports.
- Prepare feasibility reports and cost plans.
- Carry out detailed surveys for equipment replacement.
- Prepare detailed designs and coordinating with CAD team.
- Attend design team meetings.
- Prepare NBS specifications, equipment schedules and tender documents.
- Review and report on tender prices and quality returns.
- Attend and chair pre-start and site progress meetings.
- Undertake site quality and progress inspections.
- Reviewing contractor applications and certifying payment.
- Act as Contract Administrator.
- Assist and mentor more junior staff.
- Assist in maintaining project QMS records.
