We are looking for a skilled Plumber / Building Services Engineer to join our facilities team. This role covers general building services maintenance, including both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive work. You will support the smooth operation of our sites, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out plumbing maintenance and repairs (e.g., toilets, sinks, pipework).
- Perform general building fabric repairs as required.
- Replace filters, belts, and perform minor mechanical works.
- Support legionella monitoring and other water hygiene checks.
- Complete scheduled PPM tasks and respond to reactive maintenance requests.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed.
- Travel to Cambridge site as required (once per week/fortnight).
Requirements
- Proven experience in plumbing and general building services.
- Basic knowledge of L8 (Legionella) requirements; formal certification not essential as training will be provided.
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
- Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
- Full UK driving license (to use company van).
