We are seeking a skilled and motivated Multi-Skilled Electrician to join a growing facilities management team supporting a prestigious public sector contract within a high-profile London borough. This is a varied role covering planned, reactive, and minor works across a diverse estate. You’ll work both independently and as part of a wider maintenance team, delivering high-quality electrical services while representing the organisation in a professional, customer-focused manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver all aspects of electrical installation works, from light commercial to large industrial installations
- Work as part of a maintenance team on larger projects, or independently on minor works
- Carry out planned, reactive, and remedial maintenance activities
- Install and maintain single and three-phase LV distribution systems
- Installation of containment systems including steel & PVC trunking, tray, and conduit
- Final circuit cabling, second fix termination, wiring accessories, and data networking
- Fault finding, inspection, and testing to current standards
- Ensure all works comply with current IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
- Accurately complete and submit job documentation (paper or electronic)
- Liaise with engineers to develop effective solutions aligned with client requirements and budgets
- Use initiative to resolve complex technical issues, including sourcing parts and liaising with manufacturers
- Maintain the highest standards of health & safety, completing point-of-work risk assessments
About You:
Essential:
- C&G Level 3 (2357) or equivalent, with a completed apprenticeship
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a building maintenance environment
- AM2
- 18th Edition
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Valid CSCS/CSR (or equivalent) card
- Normal colour vision
Desirable:
- Experience in planned and reactive maintenance
- Site Supervisor Gold Card
- High Voltage awareness training
