We’re on the lookout for an experienced High Voltage Maintenance Engineer to join our team in London. If you’re skilled in HV electrical maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs, this could be a great opportunity for you.
About the Role
You’ll be working across a range of commercial and industrial sites, making sure high voltage systems are running safely and efficiently. Day to day, you’ll be:
- Carrying out planned maintenance, inspections, and testing on HV equipment (switchgear, transformers, protection systems, etc.).
- Diagnosing and fixing faults to keep downtime to a minimum.
- Responding to emergency breakdowns when needed.
- Making sure all work meets safety and compliance standards.
- Working closely with clients and internal teams to keep everything running smoothly.
What We’re Looking For
We need someone with solid experience in high voltage maintenance, who can hit the ground running. Ideally, you’ll have:
- HV Authorisation (11kV/33kV experience preferred).
- A background in HV/LV distribution systems, protection relays, and safety protocols.
- Relevant certifications (AP/SAP status, HV switching qualifications, etc.).
- A strong safety-first approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A full UK driving licence (preferred).
