The Role
As a Temporary Chef, you will be responsible for
- Preparing fresh, nutritious meals for residents, patients, students, and staff.
- Catering for a variety of dietary, allergen, and nutritional requirements.
- Maintaining high food quality and presentation standards.
- Ensuring compliance with Food Safety and HACCP procedures.
- Supporting kitchen teams during busy service periods.
- Maintaining clean, safe, and organised kitchen environments.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working as a Chef in schools, care homes, hospitals, contract catering, or commercial kitchens.
- A valid, in-date Enhanced DBS Certificate (essential).
- Strong understanding of food hygiene and health & safety regulations.
- Knowledge of allergen management and special dietary requirements.
- Excellent reliability and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to different kitchen environments.
