We are recruiting for a Resident Electrical Supervisor / Lead Electrician supervising PPM and reactive maintenance on a large estate in Darlington. The role requires good all-round knowledge of FM disciplines including mechanical, fabric works, and compliance documentation. It is a permanent position paying up to 42k basic, with working hours Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm and 1pm-9pm shifts alternating. On call and overtime are TBC, with 25 days holiday plus statutory holidays.
The Lead Electrical Engineer will supervise and lead all planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks across the estate. Flexibility is essential as tasks may extend beyond core electrical work to include other FM disciplines.
Responsibilities include:- Supervision of proactive maintenance and compliance processes
- Reactive repairs
- Emergency lighting systems
- Power and distribution, lighting, sockets, switches, door control systems, BMS, control panels
- Fixed wire testing
- Assistance with estate high and low voltage systems and black start tests
- General HVAC systems such as AHUs and fan coils, plus basic mechanical plant
- Onsite training will be provided for all tasks to ensure staff competency.
