We are seeking an experienced Drainage Engineer to join our growing team, working across multiple sites within the M25 corridor. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional looking for long-term stability, competitive remuneration, and the use of a company vehicle, while working on varied and technically challenging projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and assess drainage systems to identify blockages, defects, leaks, and failures.
- Carry out and oversee drainage installation, repair, and maintenance works to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant systems.
- Prepare technical reports and specifications, providing clear recommendations for repairs, upgrades, or improvements.
- Work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver projects on time and to specification.
- Implement preventative measures to reduce the risk of flooding and waterlogging.
- Apply sustainable drainage solutions, including rainwater harvesting and green infrastructure, to minimise environmental impact.
- Ensure all works are completed in full compliance with health & safety legislation and relevant industry standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in drainage engineering or a closely related role.
- Strong technical knowledge of drainage systems, materials, and installation methodologies.
- Ability to work independently, managing multiple sites efficiently.
