In-House Data Centre Critical Shift Engineer: Sussex

Basic Salary is £58,000 Plus Annual review and career enhancements.

  • Overtime
  • Annual Bonus 10% basic salary

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Biased Data Centre Shift Engineer to be based at one of the legacy Data Centre Campuses in and around Surrey and Sussex. The site consists of 3 Data Centres all with dedicated engineering maintenance operations teams in place, contributing to a collaborative and cohesive working environment.

These sites have been earmarked for significant CAPEX project enhancement modernisation. Any engineer looking to join will be part of the system upgrades and site improvements, making it a very interesting place to work, with manufacturers' courses on new plant and systems being installed and commissioned.

Working directly for one of the top five data hosting companies globally, this role also comes with numerous career opportunities down the line. We are in search of a conscientious, hardworking, and resolute technically minded Electrical biased Shift Engineer.

High Voltage experience is a plus; however, a comprehensive and in-depth working understanding of all electrical UPS systems, generators, BMS, fire suppression systems, general HVAC, and facilities maintenance procedures and processes, as well as a good understanding of cooling and mechanical plant, is advantageous.
