We are recruiting for a Lead Maintenance Electrician / Maintenance Supervisor based in the Newcastle area, responsible for electrical maintenance within a large-scale estate. The role starts as temporary but aims to become permanent for the right candidate. Salary is approximately £43k, based on 40 hours per week (£20.67/hr), plus overtime.
Responsibilities include supervising and performing PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical systems, lighting, emergency lighting, controls, BMS, basic plumbing, AHU/fan coil upkeep, overseeing checks and compliance duties, client liaison, monitoring subcontractors, and supervising fabric staff.
Requirements include:
- Qualified Electrical Engineer (SNVQ Level 3 or C&G 1 and 2)
- Ideally 18th edition
- Experience in PPM and reactive maintenance
- Excellent client-facing skills
- Supervisory or lead engineering experience
- Ability to document and log paperwork effectively
