A leading Facilities Management company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join the engineering team at a mission-critical data centre. This is a key position within a fast-paced environment where precision, reliability, and safety are essential to maintaining continuous operations.
The Electrical Engineer will take responsibility for planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, and fault-finding across a wide range of critical building services equipment. Systems include HV/LV electrical distribution, UPS, generators, switchgear, lighting, BMS, cooling systems, and life safety systems. The successful candidate will also assist with electrical isolations, permit control, and supporting resilience testing to ensure uninterrupted service for high-profile clients.
Applicants must hold City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installations (or equivalent) and be fully up to date with 18th Edition wiring regulations. Experience working in a data centre, financial institution, or other critical environment is essential, along with a calm, methodical approach to problem-solving under pressure.
