Chef β Β£15.50 per hour β Weekly Pay

Hours: 37.5 hours per week | 5 days out of 7 | Every other weekend
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Chef to join our clients team. The role is full-time, working 37.5 hours per week across a 7-day rota, including every other weekend. Days off are provided during the week when weekends are worked.
Shift patterns: Monday to Friday:
- 8:00am β 4:00pm
- 10:30am β 6:30pm
- 1:00pm β 9:00pm
Saturday and/or Sunday:
- 7:30am β 9:00pm (can be worked as one long shift or split across both days)
Key Duties & Responsibilities for a Chef:
- Preparing and cooking meals in line with pre-set menus and dietary requirements
- Batch cooking to ensure consistent quality and portion control
- Following standardised recipes and procedures
- Ensuring food is prepared and served safely, meeting all food hygiene standards
- Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
- Monitoring stock levels and informing the relevant person of any shortages
- Adhering to all health and safety and food safety regulations
- Working both independently and as part of a small team
Requirements for a Chef:
- Level 2 Food Safety Certificate (essential)
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (due to location)
- Previous experience working in a similar chef or cook role
- Strong understanding of food hygiene, allergen management, and safe food handling
- Ability to follow structured menus and recipes confidently
